1. Privacy Approach
Oak Coliseum is designed to help Pokémon GO players organize information about their Pokémon collections and receive personalized team recommendations.
I believe the information you provide to Oak Coliseum should be used to provide and improve the service you requested, not treated as a product to be sold.
Oak Coliseum does not sell your personal information or your Pokémon inventory data.
2. Information Oak Coliseum Collects
The information Oak Coliseum collects depends on how you use the service.
Account Information
If you create an account, Oak Coliseum stores:
- Email address
- Authentication and account-security records managed by Supabase
- Account type, Pro entitlement, and subscription status
Pokémon Inventory Information
To provide personalized team recommendations, users may enter, upload, or import information about Pokémon they own.
This information includes the fields you provide or import, such as:
- Pokémon species and form
- Combat Power (CP)
- Individual Values (IVs)
- Fast and Charged Moves
- Standard, Shadow, or Purified status
- Ready Now or Build Project status
- Calculated Great, Ultra, and Master League rank and eligibility data
Inventory information is used to evaluate available Pokémon and generate personalized team recommendations.
When you choose the screenshot importer, the selected image files are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded to or stored by Oak Coliseum. Only the inventory information you review and explicitly confirm is saved to your account.
Medal Progress and Problem Reports
Signed-in users may save medal totals to their account. If you submit a problem report, Oak Coliseum stores the report text, your account email, the page involved, and basic browser and screen information needed to investigate the issue.
Oak Coliseum does not currently save generated team results or optimizer history to your account.
Billing Information
For Pro memberships, Oak Coliseum stores limited Stripe identifiers, plan and subscription status, billing interval, renewal or cancellation timing, and payment outcome. Oak Coliseum does not receive or store your full card number or card security code.
Technical and Usage Information
Cloudflare, Supabase, and Oak Coliseum's service logs automatically process limited technical information needed to deliver, secure, measure, and troubleshoot the site. This can include:
- Browser type
- Device type
- Operating system
- Internet Protocol (IP) address
- Approximate geographic region derived from network information
- Pages visited
- Error and diagnostic information
- Date and time of access
Oak Coliseum also records de-identified product-flow events when an inventory import, manual entry, team generation, simulation, or What-If comparison starts, succeeds, fails, or is abandoned. These events may include the selected league or cup, elapsed time, item count, and a general error category. They do not include an email, account identifier, IP address, browser identity, Pokémon, moves, CP, IVs, or the contents of a user's inventory.
3. How Oak Coliseum Uses Information
Information collected by Oak Coliseum may be used to:
- Create and maintain user accounts
- Store and manage user Pokémon inventory information
- Generate personalized Pokémon GO PvP team recommendations
- Analyze Pokémon, moves, team combinations, and league data
- Store signed-in medal progress
- Receive and investigate problem reports
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve Oak Coliseum
- Understand how features are used
- Detect abuse, fraud, security threats, or misuse of the service
- Communicate important account or service information
- Manage subscriptions and Pro features
4. Your Inventory and Recommendations
Your Pokémon inventory is private to your account and is used to provide personalized analysis and recommendations.
Oak Coliseum does not make your personal inventory publicly visible.
Generated team results are not currently stored as an account history.
5. Sharing of Information
Oak Coliseum does not sell personal information or Pokémon inventory information.
Information is processed by service providers when reasonably necessary to operate Oak Coliseum:
- Cloudflare for website delivery, security, and aggregate traffic measurement
- Supabase for account authentication, database storage, and service logs
- Stripe for Pro Checkout, subscriptions, billing management, tax, and payment fraud prevention
- Resend for delivery of problem-report notifications to Oak Coliseum
Service providers should receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform their assigned function.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, security, and safety of Oak Coliseum, its users, or others.
6. Pro Accounts and Payments
Oak Coliseum offers optional paid features through Pro subscriptions.
Pro purchases use Stripe-hosted Checkout and Stripe's billing portal. Stripe receives the name, billing address, payment method, and other billing information needed to complete and manage the transaction. Oak Coliseum does not receive or store full payment-card details.
Oak Coliseum receives limited billing information from Stripe as needed to identify a transaction, provide subscription access, show membership status, prevent duplicate Checkout sessions, reconcile billing state, and support billing management.
7. Cookies and Local Storage
Supabase uses browser storage to maintain your authenticated session. Oak Coliseum may also use local storage for temporary interface state and to preserve legacy medal-progress data while it is moved into a signed-in account.
These technologies may be used for purposes including:
- Keeping users signed in
- Improving site security
Where required, users will be provided with appropriate choices regarding non-essential cookies or similar technologies.
8. Data Retention
Oak Coliseum retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain user accounts, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce applicable agreements.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the reason it is being retained.
De-identified product-flow events are automatically removed after 90 days.
Retained Match Video Analyzer beta evidence packages, if any, are automatically removed after 90 days. The Analyzer is no longer offered.
9. Account and Data Deletion
Signed-in users can permanently delete their Oak Coliseum account from My Account. Deletion removes the Oak login, inventory, medal progress, account profile and entitlement records, and submitted problem reports.
A paid Pro subscription must be canceled through Manage Billing and allowed to end before the Oak account can be deleted. This prevents an account from disappearing while Stripe could still charge it. Stripe may retain transaction and billing records required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or other legal obligations.
De-identified security, billing-reconciliation, and administrative audit records may be retained where needed to protect the service or document prior actions. Provider backups and logs may persist for their normal limited retention periods before being overwritten.
10. Security
Oak Coliseum intends to use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect user information.
No system, website, database, or method of electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should use unique, secure passwords and take reasonable steps to protect access to their accounts.
11. User Choices and Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to your personal information.
These rights may include the ability to:
- Access personal information associated with your account
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of personal information
- Request a copy of certain information
- Object to or restrict certain forms of processing
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
Requests will be handled according to applicable law and may require identity verification.
12. Children's Privacy
Oak Coliseum is intended as a team analysis and recommendation tool for Pokémon GO players.
Oak Coliseum does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. Users must satisfy the age and parental-consent requirements described in the Terms & Conditions and required by the laws that apply to them.
13. Third-Party Services and Links
Oak Coliseum may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services.
Oak Coliseum is not responsible for the privacy practices, security, content, or policies of third-party websites and services. Users should review the privacy policies of any third-party service they choose to use.
14. Pokémon and Third-Party Intellectual Property
Oak Coliseum is an independent fan-created service.
Pokémon, Pokémon GO, character names, game data, images, and related intellectual property belong to their respective owners.
Oak Coliseum's use of third-party data, graphics, rankings, or other resources does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, or official affiliation unless expressly stated.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Oak Coliseum may update this Privacy Policy as the service evolves, new features are introduced, service providers change, or legal requirements change.
The updated policy will display a revised "Last Updated" date. Significant changes may also be communicated through the website, account notifications, or email where appropriate.
